Uses: Hydnocarpus Oil is obtained from seeds, which is very effective in early cases of lepromatous leprosys. In both Mycobacterium leprae and M. tuberculosis the oil very potent. Seeds used For ophthalmia, chronic skin infections and for dressing wounds and ulcers the seeds are very useful. In bruises, chest infections, sciatica, sprains and rheumatism the oil used is locally applied.
