Uses: Roots and fruits are used for diseases of respiratory tract. It is analgesic for muscular pains and inflammation. It act as snuff in coma and drowsiness and used internally as carminative, as sedative in insomnia and epilepsy. It act as cholagogue in obstructions of bile duct and gall bladder and act as an emmenagogue and abortifacient.
