Uses: Roots are stomachic and sedative and used in loss of appetite, hiccup, diarrhoea and dysentery. They possess astringent and antiseptic properties . It is applied to sores and chronic ulcers. Flowers are given in dysentery, leucorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, hemoptysis, and catarrhal bronchitis.Decoction is used for eye troubles and act as a vulnerary.
