Uses: Leaves mildly stimulant and diuretic, used in scorbutic diseases and hepatic complaints. Seeds galactagogue, emmenagogue, diuretic, tonic, aphrodisiac, laxative, and rubefacient used in poultices for hurts and sprains. Roots used in secondary syphilis and tenesmus.
