Uses: Nux-vomica consists of dry ripe seeds which is used as a tonic, stimulant, febrifuge and in preparations for nervous disorders. Seeds are prescribed in colic and acts as an emetic. Seeds also form a constituent of medicated preparations for the scalp. Leaves are used as poultice on sloughing wounds and maggot infested ulcers. Roots and bark is febrifuge.
