Uses: The decoction of roots is used as a tonic and emmenagogue. Stem and bark is used for gastric troubles and as an ascarifuge.The decoction of leaves used in cough and asthma, their poultice used for treatment of piles and tumours. Fruits are lithontriptic, diuretic, deobstruent,carminative, and stomachic and are used in biliousness and rheumatism. A fatty oil applied on rheumatic swellings is obtained from the seeds.
