Uses: The plant is hemostatic and having wound-healing property in burns and inflammation of tissues. In homoeopathy it is used in disorders of epidermis and in headache, earache and toothache. Leaves are cooling, febrifuge, diuretic, astringent and vulnerary; their infusion is used in diarrhoea and piles; decoction used as an eye-wash and their ointment in skin troubles. Roots are astringent and febrifuge. Seeds are demulcent, stimulant, diuretic and als
